32th AUSTRIAN POTTERY MARKET,
28 to 30 August 2020
M A R K E T I N F O R M A T I O N
Purpose and Contents of the 32th Austrian Pottery Market:
OFFER OF POTTERY HANDMADE IN YOUR OWN STUDIO
Individual stall-designs including the lateral environment belonging to each stall are welcome and may include both floral decorations as well as other individual ideas. Please ensure a clear and visible labelling of the stall (name of the studio etc.). Music, drinks and food are not permitted.
Organisation:
The market will be held from 28th to 30th August 2020 daily from 10 am to 6 pm (in case of nice weather possibly longer).
Assembly and Delivery to the Market:
The stall can be assembled on Thursday, 27th August 2020 as of 2 pm. The access to the market area with vehicles for unloading is possible. After unloading, the vehicles have to be removed immediately from the market area.
Parking:
The vehicles of the pottery market exhibitors may be parked on the specifically intended car park only. (A map of the car park will be sent to you).
In principle, cardboards as packaging material should not be seen on the stalls. All sorts of wrapping can be easily hidden.
Dismantling of the Market on Sunday, 30th August 2020:
Please note that each hired stall (or stand) must be left clean. All sorts of litter such as packaging material have to be disposed; the immediate vicinity of each stall must be cleaned daily.
At night, the City of Gmunden will provide surveillance from the 27th to the 28th and the 28th to the 29th and 29th to 30th of August 2020 but will not be subject to any liability whatsoever. Therefore, the potters are requested to cover the stalls and/or the goods in the evenings.
Promotion:
The Culture Dept. of the City of Gmunden will provide for various promotion items such as posters, market-information leaflets etc. This does not rule out that the exhibitors provide their pr-relations with own texts. The distribution of this promotion material is incumbent on the exhibiting studios. The more target-oriented and extensive this work will be done, the more people will visit our market. The Culture Dept. will send information materials to all daily and weekly papers, ceramic journals, museums, tourist boards and coach companies as well as related institutions.
