ÖSTERREICHISCHER TÖPFERMARKT 2017

Liebe Freunde des Österreichischen Töpfermarktes!

Jedes Jahr im August wird die Keramikstadt Gmunden am Traunsee zu einem Mekka der Tonkunst und verwandelt den Rathausplatz und die Esplanade zu einer Bühne europäischer Töpfer-Elite.

Den Veranstaltern ist es in diesem Jahr wieder gelungen Werkstätten auszusuchen, die eine anspruchsvolle Mischung und einen Querschnitt zeitgenössischen, keramischen Schaffens in allen Formen präsentieren. So kann sich der Besucher auch heuer wieder einen guten Eindruck über die europäische Keramik-Szene machen. Durch das Einladen von Gastländern (in diesem Jahr werden Gäste aus Finnland erwartet) entsteht ein reger fachlicher, aber auch kultureller Austausch unter den teilnehmenden Töpfern, aber auch Besuchern.

Begleitend zum Markt wird auch der zeitgenössischen Keramikkunst Raum gegeben. So werden in den Gmundner Galerien und Ausstellungsräumen Werke junger, aber auch renommierter nationaler und internationaler Keramikkünstler gezeigt.

Das alles trägt dazu bei, unsere Stadt als "Keramikstadt" national aber auch international noch besser zu positionieren.

Die Keramikstadt Gmunden wünscht bereits heute sowohl den Teilnehmern als auch den Besuchern ein in jeder Beziehung bereicherndes "Töpfermarktwochenende in der Keramikstadt Gmunden".

Dear friends of the Pottery Market!

Every year in August Gmunden am Traunsee – Ceramics Town, becomes the Mecca for ceramic arts and turns the Town Hall Square and the Promenade near the lake into a stage for the European ceramics elite.

Once again the promoters have to choose effective cities of arts for the year, cities that present an ambitious mix and a selection of contemporary works in ceramic, of any shape. This way the visitor will be able to get a good sense of the European pottery scene of this year, too. Thanks to the invitation of guests from abroad (this year we expect guests from finnland), a more intense, professional, as well as cultural exchange is possible not only among the ceramists taking part to the project, but also among these and the visitors.

Together with the Market there will also be the Room of Contemporary Ceramic Art. This way works of both young and renowned ceramists from Austria and abroad will be displayed in the galleries and exhibition rooms in Gmunden.

All of this contributes to giving our city a better position as a Ceramics Town, both in Austria and abroad.

Since today Gmunden – Ceramics Town wishes the participants as well the guests an enriching “Weekend of the Pottery Market in Gmunden – Ceramics Town”.

Ogni anno ad agosto Gmunden am Traunsee, Città della Ceramica, diventa la Mecca dell’arte ceramica e trasforma la Piazza del Municipio e la Promenade in riva al lago in un palcoscenico per l’élite europea della ceramica.

Anche quest’anno l’organizzazione si occuperà di scegliere città d’arte rilevanti che presentino un insieme ambizioso ed una selezione di opere in ceramica contemporanee e di qualsiasi forma. Come nelle precedenti edizioni, quindi, il visitatore potrà farsi una buona idea del panorama europeo della ceramica. L’invito rivolto a Paesi stranieri (quest’anno sono attesi artisti da finnland) permette uno scambio ancor più vivace, professionale e culturale, non solo fra i ceramisti partecipanti, ma anche fra questi ed i visitatori.

Insieme al mercato sarà allestita anche la Sala dell’Arte Ceramica Contemporanea, così che nelle gallerie e nelle sale adibite all’esposizione a Gmunden verranno esposte sia opere di giovani talenti, sia di artisti rinomati, austriaci ed internazionali.

Tutto ciò contribuisce a migliorare la posizione della città di Gmunden come Città della Ceramica non solo a livello nazionale, ma anche internazionale.
